Bespoke Named Top Small Company in CBJ's Best Workplaces

Bespoke Sports & Entertainment has been named the top small company in Charlotte Business Journal's annual review of the Queen City's Best Places to Work. This is the second-straight year that Bespoke has been honored as a best workplace and the first time it was recognized with the top ranking.

In announcing the accomplishment, Charlotte Business Journal wrote:

Bespoke functions with a “next person up” philosophy. The small staff is cross trained, and any individual is capable of handling any situation that arises, Bespoke President Greg Busch says. “There is no shortage of people that think they want to get into this industry,” Busch says. Bespoke looks for people with the right experience but also the right personality and passion. Bespoke’s internship program is not geared to bring in low-level doers but is a development tool for future employees.

As the pandemic has ravaged live sports and entertainment, Bespoke has worked to bring talented people laid off from their jobs closer to new opportunities. The firm recently set up a workspace for displaced industry professionals to come and make phone calls, interview or connect with industry contacts. “We saw so many people get laid off, great people we have known a long time,” Busch says. “It was a tangible way we could help. We can’t hire all these people but we can connect the dots on openings we know through our networking.”
