
Job Description – Account Executive / Account Manager
Position Overview:
The Account Executive / Account Manager is a vital position providing strategic leadership and oversight of client accounts and collaboration with internal teams to ensure quality of relationship and work product. The position is fast-paced and requires strong project management, strategy, creative, analytics and collaboration skills in leading day-to-day working relationships with client partners.
Must have experience in client management, sponsorship strategy and program execution across various sports and entertainment properties including: NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, MLS, college properties and outdoors.
Job Responsibilities:

Work closely with the client to implement and execute the program(s) as it aligns with the client’s goals and objectives

Demonstrate strategic and creative thinking, problem solving, and individual initiative as a trusted advisor, leader and teammate

Lead day-to-day client activity & support client to ensure all details are being communicated pre, post and during events

Work alongside client partners to solve business challenges, successfully manage projects through problem solving and flawless execution

Develop and present thoughtful strategic insights leveraging research and data

Provide excellent partner service through quick response times and effectively delivering and meeting client expectations, ensuring highest level of satisfaction

Understand the competitive landscape, industry trends, and client objectives

Provide client with feedback on engagement, milestones, partner strategies, solution enhancements and other key initiatives

Manage existing partner relationships and support business development with new and existing partners

Genuine eagerness to work with, mentor, encourage and learn from a diverse and talented team

Play an active role driving integration, collaboration, communications and best practice sharing across the organization

Provide reports and updates to internal and external teams as needed

Follow established work rules, policies and procedures

Actively engage with other members of the company to continuously strive to improve processes, create efficiencies and reduce costs

When applicable, travel for the purpose of planning and leading execution of programs

Cooperatively take on other duties, roles or responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements:

College degree with 3-6 years of experience; Masters preferred.

Minimum 2 years of experience focused in client delivery and client management within a consulting organization, agency, brand, or team/league.

Thorough understanding of the sports, media and entertainment landscape

Excellent business writing, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills

Desire to work in a fast-paced, evolving, growing, dynamic and challenging environment

Must possess keen listening skills and strong analytical and creative problem-solving mindset

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and foster key business relationships

Creative, adaptive personality that can interface with senior-level executives

Experience in development and management of budgets

Experience with 3rd party measurement and evaluation tools

Strong attention to detail and Computer proficiency with MS Office products, PowerPoint

Ability to work traditional and non-traditional office hours as needed

Willingness to travel to various event locations and execute on-site as needed
